Art Style options for Custom Paintings by Sonia Farrell

When you have a custom painting done, for example a pet portrait painting of your furbaby, you can choose between either of the following art styles - namely Classic Contemporary Colours or my more recently introduced Whimsical Style.

This means I can paint your pet, a favourite place, your 'toys' such as classic cars and motorbikes, flowers, birds, or anything else you can imagine in a beautiful artwork that can take its pride of place in your beautiful home, business, reception or office.

Classic contemporary colours

With a clear focus on the subject matter - for example, a pet portrait, Sonia uses the crisp white background in these contemporary artworks to fully highlight the focal point of the painting. Colours are vivid and distinct, fun and charming, distinctive and and unique.

Using chosen colours, I use free and smooth painterly style to establish a background on the canvas, then using similar colours, including white, I paint the artwork to establish an artwork that focuses on relationship and connection in an abstract, impressionistic style combined with contemporary realism - with my typical focus on the eyes, nose and mouth - for example in portraits.
